This is mainly a quality of life update. We've made a lot of improvements to how our systems work behind the scenes and also consolidated almost all of our micro-services in our own data center. What this means for you is that we can now process your requests much faster and the overall stability of DocuChat has greatly improved. We've also made some improvements to the widget and the chatbot builder.
✨ New
- EU-based AI Models: We now have AI models hosted in the EU. We are rolling out our EU-based "embeddings model" with this update and will be rolling out the EU-based completion models in the coming weeks. This simply means your data will not leave the EU when you use DocuChat and you will still get the same great performance as US-based models.
- DocuChat Evals: Working with AI models can be a bit tricky. That is why we've developed an internal evaluation framework to test out our AI models and prompts to make sure we can quantify model and configuration performance. This is a huge step forward for us and will allow us to make better and rapid decisions on how to improve answers and the overall performance of DocuChat.

- Embed Chat Widget: We've overhauled the styling of our chat widget embeds. Your chat widgets will now look much better and more consistent across different screen sizes. Also, the image to show in the chat bubble can now be your chatbot's avatar. For existing embeds, you should re-copy the embed code from DocuChat to change the image.
